Fix One: Your robots.txt is blocking AI crawlers

This is the single most common technical issue. If your robots.txt contains Disallow: / for GPTBot or ClaudeBot, you're blocking the system from reading your content. Check your file at yourdomain.com/robots.txt immediately.

Fix Two: You have no schema markup

Schema is the structured data layer that helps AI understand what your content means. High-impact types include "Organization", "LocalBusiness", "FAQ", and "Product". Without them, AI has to guess — and it often guesses wrong.

Fix Three: Your brand entity is weak or inconsistent

AI systems build understanding through entities — verifiable facts consistent across many sources. Inconsistent addresses, missing Google Business Profiles, or lack of author profiles create entity confusion.

Fix Four: You don't answer questions directly

If your important pages don't answer the primary question in the first paragraph, you are losing opportunities to competitors who put the answer first. AI systems prefer the beginning of relevant passages for citation.
